How long does it take to obtain the Official WhatsApp API?
Obtaining WhatsApp API is divided into two steps:
- FB Business Manager Verification takes 2 to 14 days
- WhatsApp Business API Account creation takes 5 mins.
Can botbaba carry out the application process on my behalf?
Sorry, we won’t be able to support you with that. But we do have documentation and videos to support you.
Can we send promotional messages to people?
Yes, you can send promotional content if their session is active. You cannot send promotional messages using template messages.
When does the session become active?
When user messages your bot, the session becomes active. It remains active for 24 hours from the last message of the user.
How to send messages to the user after 24 hours?
You can send template messages to people after 24 hours (session window) are over. Template messages can’t be promotional in nature and need to be pre-approved by WhatsApp before you can send them.
